Cornea Preservation Time Study (CPTS)

The Cornea Preservation Time Study (CPTS) is a nationwide study, the first of its kind to study whether endothelial keratoplasty (a corneal transplant surgery) using donor corneas preserved beyond 8 days may be as successful as a surgery using donor corneas preserved less than 8 days.

Diabetes

In Home Closed Loop Reduction of Nocturnal Hypoglycemia and Daytime Hyperglycemia (IHCL)

To evaluate systems for reducing nocturnal hypoglycemia and for reducing hyperglycemia after meals in people with type 1 diabetes in a home setting.

JDRF Artificial Pancreas Project (APP)

To develop algorithms for automated computer control of blood glucose in diabetics and evaluate the effectiveness of experimental systems that incorporate those algorithms.
JDRF Artificial Pancreas Project Website

Pediatric Diabetes Consortium (PDC)

To improve the care of children with type 2 diabetes by sharing and advocating best care practices resulting from the collection and analysis of treatment outcome data.

T1D Exchange

To improve the comprehensive study of type 1 diabetes (T1D) and create new research opportunities through a T1D data exchange with three components —a clinical registry, biobank, and web-based patient portal —and by conducting important clinical research studies
